goodbye observation!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHAT'S NEXT?

Last year, we experienced a lot of political problems. And now, we are in the second month of 2009 and still problems are there. If we remember , in the latter part of 2008, the ZTE scandal exploded. Many prominent people are involved in the said problem. But still there's no strong evidence according to our government. After the ZTE scandal, our country experienced rice shortage and many product prices increased. We are all in trouble. We never knew what to do to stop the crisis. And now we are facing a new problem, the world financial crisis. Although we experienced it in the last 2 years, still this is a big issue in our country because everyone is invovled.
Maybe our president was right about what she said everytime she faced press people. Her famous line "wala nang taong nagugutom" is true just because low income rendered people dying in starvation. Our president always go around the world for the sake of our country "daw", but she never cares about the poor people living in her own place. Because she never experienced how to become poor even for 1 day. Maybe the government really worked hard but the problem is the people that surround the government. Did they really have to impress us during elections only? Poor us because we will never experience the true meaning of hope.
The problem we are facing today is just a sample. After the ZTE scandal, rice shortage, price hike and world financial crisis, what will be the next problem we will encounter? And what will be the next move of our president for the upcoming problem?

A HEART WARMING EXPERIENCE IN BAGUIO

Baguio is the summer capital of the Philippines. Many people are dreaming to go there, to see the beautiful place and experience the cold breeze. Last February 7, we we went to Baguio City for an educational trip. During the trip, we were happy and excited, because this was the first time for some of us.
Along the road we took the Kenon Road, this way was said to be the dangerous road. Many people died during earthquakes or rainy days. that night, we saw the peaceful version of Baguio. It was a terrific experience. All the lights were open; it looks like Christmas lights in the middle of the night. When we were in Baguio, we visited different beautiful spots like Burnham Park. For me Burnham Park was just a common place, it looks like Wildlife the only difference was the big pond in the center plus the different kinds of boats. Next we went to Grotto it has a 210 steps before you will see the shrine of Mary. It is said that the Grotto is a miraculous place. Accidentally , we saw some of our "BOKSINGEROS"the Hawaiian punch Bryan Villoria and Gerry PeƱalosa. After that, we went to Philippine Military Academy. PMA is a colder place than Burnham Park because PMA is higher than Burnham Park, we saw many good looking cadets; they were so handsome. We saw also the mansion of the Marcos, it is said that it is a haunted house, because many ghosts lived there. Next, we stopped in Mines View. It looks like Forks, Washington of Twilight because it has a lot of Pine trees. It was a beautiful place. A place that you'll never forget. As if you were near heaven. All clouds are high and vertical. We saw also a big dog, that looks like a dog in Hana Kimi and we saw many Igorot.
The next place was the Botanical Garden. I think this was the only place that has a different variety of flowers. Soils are different also not only in color but also the nutrition it gave.
After many places we went back to Burnham Park. And all the Single Ladies [Angelica, Donna,Eden, Lucky and Me] went to SM Baguio and we were happy because we saw many "papabols" in streets. SM Baguio is different from SM here in Manila, because SM Baguio has no air condition. And still the temperature is cold (of course, we were in Baguio)
It is true that experience is better than pictures. Because pictures, we will see this always. But experience bring happiness to our heart. And Baguio is a heart-warming experience, a nice joyride of our life.

DESIDERATA BY MAX EHRMANN

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
